Athena Taming the Dragon" is Angie Bray-Widner's interpretation of the 18" coil pot assignment in Ceramics I at Coconino Community College. The pot's shape is a scaled up replicate of a Pyxis (box) from ancient Greece. The surface designs were inspired from ancient Greek designs and various Chinese dragons.
